Hawkes Media is the work of Justin Hawkes — a videographer, social strategist, and creative director rooted in Sussex County, Delaware. Long before the business had a name, he was the kid with the camera on every trip, turning weekends with friends into highlight reels worth rewatching. That instinct — to find the story inside the moment — never left.
After eight years as general manager at Fisher's Popcorn, Justin learned how a business actually runs from the inside out: leading teams, navigating a tourist season's chaos, and handling the hard conversations with a kind spirit. Pair that foundation with a deep curiosity for the psychology of social media — what draws people in, what makes them stay — and Hawkes Media became the natural next chapter.
Today, Justin leads the creative direction behind every project — shooting, editing, and shaping the strategy himself, and bringing in trusted collaborators when the work calls for it. The vision stays consistent from concept to delivery. The studio is rooted in Delaware, where most clients are based, but Justin works across the East Coast and is open to traveling wherever a brand's story takes him.
